About The Role:

As a Corporate Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organisation’s success by providing comprehensive legal guidance and ensuring all business activities comply with UAE laws and regulations. You will collaborate closely with various departments, analyse complex legal issues, and draft and negotiate watertight commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents, safeguarding the company’s interests.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence investigations to mitigate legal risks associated with business transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest UAE laws, regulations, and legal precedents to provide informed legal advice.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder agreements, and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage legal disputes efficiently and cost-effectively, seeking amicable resolutions whenever possible.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external counsel to achieve optimal results.
  • Act as a compliance officer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer in the UAE
  • Admitted to practice law in the UAE with a thorough understanding of local legal procedures and requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic (proficiency in Arabic a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
